So I just got my new computer ready and I installed Windows 10 Home (64-bit) to a Samsung 250gb SSD.
Well, when pressing the power button, it takes like several seconds for my monitors power button (which has a led) to show "blue" a.k.a It's receiving signals. Normally its just orange. Asus vq248qe 144hz

Then, it takes some time to get past the Asus "logo" screen, which says the "Press Del or F2 to enter UEFI Bios settings"
And then loading windows is pretty normal, maybe more than I expected from my new computer, especially that it's on an SSD, but you know.
Whole process took 1 minute to get to the "Enter password" screen where I enter my password on my Windows 10 and get to desktop view.

Why does it take so long? Feels like it takes the same time as my old pc, 4-5 years old with 1TB WD HDD that has windows and is full of stuff.

EDIT: Tried it without any extra USB devices except Mouse and keyboard, took 47 seconds. It took an actual 23 seconds for my display to get any signal or for the Asus logo screen to pop up. It took about 7 second in that screen and then it took 17 seconds for Windows to load and me to get to the "login" screen of Windows 10

Definitely doesn't sound good. Might be normal for whatever reason, but not good. Why is this? Because my SSD? Motherboard?

When I remember back 1 year older Bios less RAM I would say it was a Little bit "faster" like 30 seconds or so to get log on Screen, Now I got full RAM and newer Bios and it is around 40 seconds to get log on Screen. Which bios do you got? It never was really fast, my Laptop boots much faster than X99, but it is normal that X99 boots "slow" in comparence to other Motherboards.

I think I got the 3301. I'm not completely sure, it also might be 3101
Also, I haven't updated pretty much anything else than the BIOS. I didn't use the CD that came with the motherboard. as I don't have CD drive. Now watching from here https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/X99AUSB_31/HelpDesk_Download/
There is a lot more than the BIOS download links. Should i be installing those too?

Updated those. The Windows loading loads up much faster now, but the time it takes for my display to actually "power" on/ receive signals/ show anything on the screen is still like 23-24 seconds... It's ridiculous. Why when I was searching for this motherboards reviews I didn't find this problem, but now that I actually search it fully with whats happening, there are posts about slow to enter the splash/logo screen (Is it splash screen or what? I have no idea)

I have the same issue... Asus X99-A with 64 Gb of RAM, 2 SSD Samsung Evo 850 in RAID (stripping) and Procesor Intel® Core™ i7-5820K, 3.30GHz, Haswell, 15MB overcloked at 4.4 Ghz. Since I press the button it takes about 10 seconds to Asus logo then It takes about 40 seconds for system to be ready for work. I have no password on the computer. On SSD test I got 1020 MB/s .
I have a laptop that is booting with SSD in about 17 seconds with the same OS Win 7 64 bits.
I have too great expectation from this system?
