Pc to Hdmi does not connect.

I just finished building my custom pc (my first custom build). And right before when I was testing the parts, the hdmi worked. But now that I have finished the build, the hdmi does not connect and neither my keyboard.
I have only hdmi slot's from my MSI r9 380 gaming 4g and msi 970 mobo.
When I turn the pc on and everything seems to work. Just no connection to the hdmi.
Please help.

Here are my partlists:

AMD FX 6350. (Cpu)
MSI 970 gaming mobo
MSI R9 380 gaming 4g (graphics card)
8gb corsair vengeance ram.
Keyboard: steelseries apex gaming keyboard.
1 TB Seagate HDD with pre-installed windows 10.

The only connector to my monitor is hdmi and dvi. I am currently using a hdmi connector and a dvi to hdmi adaptor.

Like I mentioned earlier, I had my monitor and Windows working perfectly and then I turned the pc off and turned it back on and I get no signal.

So you are going from your GPU with a HDMI cable and then using a HDMI (to a) DVI adapter to go to your monitor?
