Pc to hdtv vga connections quits after 5 minutes

Hello, I just bought a vga cable to connect my HP notebook to my Hannspree 42 HDTV. It worked beautifully for 5 minutes then the tv went to "No Signal!" I downloaded the latest driver from NVIDIA, still no action. Any ideas?
(HP 2110, Vista Home Pro 32, Nvidia G Force 6150.)

The only thing i could think of is if the computer is going to sleep after 5 mins check your settings. This happened to me before.

That would be too easy. No, the display is still on the computer, just not on the tv. The cable seems to be fine. The display settings are right. I contacted Nvidia so we'll see what happens.
