PC troubels again

My PC shuts down mid-boot....What can I do to fix this problem? I just put it all together it has two 1G sticks of ram and it has one ATI video and 1 other video card that dose not have a name on it, i have plugged everything up the way its supposed to be.....Im not understanding why it wont work?

ok i have an ASUS P5WD2 motherboard it has no on-board video so i have a radeod x1300 pro video card 2g of ram and i upgraded from a intel duo core to a intel quad core.
Also ive cleared th RTC, now ive done what you suggested and now my pc dose not shutdown but it also will not boot at all.....it is staying on but my CD-ROM light is staying on an my usb keyboaard will not work and my monitor is not coming on?

And which quad core?
and it is on the supported list https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P5WD2/HelpDesk_CPU/ ?
and the bios version support that cpu?

its the intel D quad and yes its on the list...now the bios part im not sure i assumed if it was on the list that it for sure would work
