Hi all,
About 2 years ago I built a PC for one of my friends and all seemed fine, but a couple of months down the line the PC started slowing down, and eventually wouldnt even start. After a fresh install of windows I eventually managed to get the pc working again and it was then right as rain. It stayed fine for another few months but then began to slow down and eventually stop working again. This pattern has been repeating for a couple of years now and despite my best efforts I have been unable to find a permanent solution. More recently ive been wondering if perhaps the problems could be caused by my friend accidentally downloading malware or something, but I just wanted to see if any of you guys might have any ideas as to what may be causing the problem or if any of you could inform me of any lines of inquiry I could follow. Any Ideas you guys can give me are hugely appreciated. If you need and additional information please let me know.
