i was playing a game last night when suddenly my pc turn off completely, black screen. tried turning it back up with no success
wat i tried:
1.clear cmos and reset jumper
2.press the power button for 20sec to discharge all power from mobo
3.tried with another psu from another pc
4.remove all component with just psu/cpu/mobo outside of case
5.remove ram stick and placed it 1 by 1 in another slot
the issue right now is that the mobo isnt geting power at all, usually there is a red strip of light rgb on the mobo that lights up red all time when it gets power and atm that light is never on(before the incident, the light stays on even when i shutdown my pc)
specs:
asrock gaming k6 z270
CORE i7-7700K
corsair vengeance red LED 8x2 DDR4 3200
msi gtx1080
silverstone strider gold S 750W
i built this pc 6-7months ago, could a possible short has cause this ? and if its the casing causing the short why would it take 7months to short the system now :S
