PC turn on but won't turn off and screen says no signal please help

Ok so I bought a new psu and it turns on now but now the pc won't turn off when I hold the power button for 4 seconds or more and on top of that I get a no signal to my display and I have already gone through the trouble shooting checklist

The computer also doesn't post so I hear no beeps either

Try turning the power switch off and turn it back on to retry.

I have done everything I have switched it off and back on since that is the only way to turn it off
I have bought a new psu and a new motherboard and now it wont give any signals to the display
I have a Radeon msi r9 380 and it worked before and I tested it to see if it was the problem but it wasnt
I have also tested the ram and they are good so maybe it is the cpu?

i have the same problem, was it happening before you changed the psu?

ok so i fixed it on my end, what i did was check the 4 pin atx 12v connector and see if it is securely in. this powers the motherboard from the psu.
