[SOLVED] PC turned on for a split second, now it wont turn on at all

Ok so today when I pressed the power button on my case, the lights turned on and the fans started spinning for like half a second. After that it turned off. And when I tried again, nothing happened when I pressed the button. After that I tried with another psu cable and another plug but nothing. I did the paper clip psu test and the psu didnt turn on at all. So now im asking: Is that all I need to know, and the psu is the issue? Or is there any other posibility? Thanks

Is there power at the socket? Maybe circuit breaker tripped?

Start there, and work your way in to the PC.

Do you have an actual PSU tester? Are cables such as the CPU power cable attached properly to the motherboard?

I dont have a psu tester, and the cables are properly attached

I dont have a surge supressor. The psu is a xfx ts650 80+ bronze. I've had it since december 2014

Unfortunately, there's not a lot more you can do.
If it fails just the basic paperclip test, assuming you did it correctly...it appears to be a dead PSU.
