Long story, so bare with me...
Wanted to upgrade from 8gb Ram to 16GB, so bought a new stick on amazon (Had to choose a different manufacturer, same speed-2133 and size-8gb)
Put new stick in, PC didn't notice it was even there... (Still had 8 gbs in performance tab)
Took old stick out, put new stick in by itself before getting replacement, Pc wouldn't even display on Monitor so I thought "okay, this stick is bad, I'll just get a replacement "
Put the original stick in and now PC is turning off and on (Still not displaying on screen)..."WTF! How does taking out ram, and putting it back in cause my PC to turn on and off"
That's my situation. Can I fix this myself, or should I just take it to the shop?
