PC turning off automatically again and again

I recently got a new pc and after the installation of Windows 7, I started using it but it is turning off automatically again and again.

I tried using new power cables but it didn't helped.

I am not getting any battery error.

When pc turns off, the green light behind my psu is always on although the light of power button turns off.

In order to start my pc again, I have to press the power on button and it turns on again.

What should I do?

new pcs do not support windows 7, and vice versa.

great effort was made (paid for) to rid the world of the only os worth keeping.

pls post your system so we can be sure this is your issue.

My specs:-
HP Pavilion p6-2417a
Intel Pentium G850 @ 2.9GHz
4GB RAM Samsung
160GB HDD Western Digital


I also tried Windows 10 (Original) But i got this error while starting the installation:-

i see, your particular pc should be using windows 8 according to the hp site.

for win 7 and 8 drivers (use the os selector) https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-p6-2400-desktop-pc-series/5330783/model/5342749/drivers

your pc only has drivers for windows 7 and 8
