Hello, well iv'e had my PC for about 2 years and it has recently started turning off and instantly turning back on, it acts like i'm restarting the PC, also, i try'd turning the power on the wall on and off quickly and it restarted as it does when it restarts itself. It only happens when playing games, when i play games i also have team speak running, but its not a heavy load,

My specs are:
-psu corsair cx750
-gigabyte gtx760
-Intel i5
-8gb ram
-gigabyte g1 sniper motherboard

It seems to happen randomly and without warning, initially I thought it was the wall outlet as i had just changed rooms in my house but after changing back it has happened again, and then i looked it up and saw that on cheaper cases the power and rest buttons can sometimes be faulty, so i unplugged them from the mother board but it still happened, i'm now thinking the power supply, but i will still ask what you think is wrong and if you have any advice for me, thanks.

I don't think its heat, normally you would suffer major performance issues from thermal throttling long before a shut down due to heat. However do check it out just encase.

Personally I think its the crap quality PSU you have. PSU's deteriorate over time, low quality units deteriorate faster. 2 years out of a CX which is low quality really raises suspicion. Complete power off under high load such as gaming or benchmarks is a common sign of a psu problem.

Have you checked the temps while playing games or under load, I use hw monitor. You might need to give the fans a clean or one may of stopped working, take the side off the case see if that helps and everything is working.

Over heating will shut down pc and once that happens the temps drop quick.
