[SOLVED] PC Turning Off Unexpectedly

Hello,

I am having an issue with my PC where occasionally it will shut off without warning. There is still power being supplied to my PC as I can see a light on my graphics card but I am unable to turn it back on for what sees to be a random amount of time. Sometimes it turns itself back on right away, other times it can take 20 minutes.

I don't think it is overheating as I have had this issue come up within 5 minutes of turning my PC on.

I've tried switching power outlets and this didn't solve the problem.

I downloaded a HW monitor and I don't see any unusual rises in temperature.

All cables are plugged in properly, I have checked this multiple times.

I saw someone else had a similar issue on a thread somewhere where the capacitors were swelling and causing the issue but I checked all of them on my mobo and they all look normal.

One strange occurrence I see is that one of my system case fans jumps randomly from about 750 RPM to 1450 RPM every couple of seconds although it does not make enough of a difference that I can hear the change on my fan.

If anyone could provide some insight on what might be the issue or what I can do to test and determine the problem it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if more information is needed. Thanks in advance.

You're welcome. One thing I might to is power down and disconnect connections and reseat the memory and cards.

Also.....being the temps and PSU seem good....maybe you have a memory issue. Maybe run Memtest,

Another option would be to reset the BIOS.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I added a couple of images below showing the CPU and mobo voltages. To be honest I am not entirely sure what to be looking for. This is showing the min/max from my use throughout the day today so far. Mostly some video games and web browsing.

True. I may need to look into a way to record the temperatures over time so that when it happens again I can check the logs.

Here are the temps that were monitored today.
