Yesterday my pc wasnt turning on. So i bought a new psu . I disconnected all the peripherals including ram gpu usb connections hdd etc and tried booting it again. Now it boots but turns off within 30 secs to 1 min.

What could be the problem ? There is nothing connect ed to the motherboard except psu and cpu.

Solution

Usually the first thing to che ck is the PSU. Since this checks OK, the next item to check is the RAM one module at a time using memtest86 or Windows memory test tool. If this passes, the next item is the motherboard.

Cooler Master B600 is a poor quality power supply. However, I am unsure if it's the cause of your current problem, but it very well could. Was it the same as the old PSU? Obviously if replacing the PSU makes it turn on, the original problem was the PSU, but for all we know it could be a problem again, in which case I would return it to Coolermaster saying it's faulty, and grabbing yourself something with more quality.

If that's the PSU you had before, probably the Jun Fu capacitors died.

I just tried another 2 new high spec power supplies and still have the same problem. Even using plugging direct into the wall outlet. Could the problem be the motherboard?

I also now connected my video card and im getting no signal

I understand your frustrations. All the parts that you changed must be tested functionally good parts. Or else new problems could occur. Merely changing parts may or may not solve problems.
