Pc turning on and off

Hey guys I did a build yesterday (my first) and when I switched on the PC. It turned on for a few seconds, fans started spinning, then it showed a green flash on the oc button on mobo, made a clicking sound and turned off and kept on repeating the same on itself. Is it because I do not have a video card installed? My specs are- Intel i5 6600k, Gigabyte GA Z170X Gaming 5, Corasir CSM 750 Watt, WD 1 TB Blue, Samsung 850 Evo 120 GB. I was going to attach a video card later.

Yeah very similar situation. Can you get some photos of all cables ? Check for 24pin +8pin connectors. You know usual stuff. I'll look it up in the morning

Yes the 24 pin and the 8 pin are connected. Could it be that I need to do a BIOS flashback as my mobo bios supports only old processors?

On last photo your memory is incorrect. Both should be on the same color. move bottom one so both are on BLACK or both are on RED.
