So Whenever I Plug in My Computer, It Turns On Instantly. The Fans Spin, But It Turns Off After 5 Seconds Or So, I Also Hear A Kind Of *Click* Sound Near The PSU, The Kind Of Click That Sounds Like A Problem With The PSU.
So I Guess That's The Problem, But I Still Posted It On Here.

SPECS:
CPU: AMD A8-7670k Radeon r7
Motherboard: ASUS A58M-K
Drives: Asus CD Drive, Unknown HITACHI HD, And Walram 240G SSD
GPU: MSI GTX 1050 2GB
Ram: ELITE+ Teamgroup 4 GB RAM (2)
OS: Windows 11 x64

also, the power supply and fans are all from 2013, this is also a prebuilt.
i am currently using a lenovo g480.

Try with known good and compatible PSU as first suspect. Depends of who's prebuilt it is, they usually include "just enough" PSU and 10 years is very long time for such units. Low end PSUs at that time came with just couple of years long warranty, not expected to last 10 years.

does 500 watts go good with my specs? i have 650

Should be enough if it's some good unit, low end PSUs don't deliver as much as they are declared for specially on 12v side, some even no more than half.

i am actually just going to buy a new psu, also how do i mark this solved?

You mean that you are currently using the Lenovo g480 (laptop) to post.

And that the problem is with another computer/desktop build - correct?

If so, what PSU is installed in that computer?

= = = =

That said:

Seconding @CountMike - "get and try first".....

If a new PSU solves the problem the thread can be marked "Solved" thereafter. Just post accordingly.

However, I must ask about why the PSU is being plugged in (and apparently unplugged later) - is that how the computer has been being turned on and off?

Versus the normal Windows Shutdown process.....

Unexpected shutdowns can and do cause file corruption which, in turn, leads to more problems.

The new PSU will not solve file corruption problems.
