Hello, to all the ppl that will be reading this.

The problem that im having is, i built a new pc and added a psu that was about 4 years old from my old pc. All was good but about 2-3 weeks later when i turn my pc on, i heard the fan start and within 2-3 secs the whole pc turns off. I was told that my psu might be dying as i did have it for over 4 years so i brought a new 600w psu. after changing the psu i did another check on the mobo just to see if ive left something out. even added new thermal paste.

The pc turned on and all was going good then i left the pc off for about a week and when i went back to turn my pc on, same problem. Within 2-3 secs the turn on the off again.

The cpu, ram and vga are from a new acer pc but changed the mobo as i didnt have room for a new soundcard that i wanted at the time and now dont even have the acer mobo as its sold. (my badluck).

Would appreciate any help to solve this problem.
