Hello, so a friend of mine has a PC that is around 5 years old, and recently (like 1 week ago) it started to turn ON and then directly OFF. Sometimes, 1/ 1000 times I would say, it turns ON and stays ON, but it's rare.
Anyways it often turns ON and stays ON when I reset through the Jumper, but not always.
I would like to add also that the PC got updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 2 weeks ago, and since the problems started, I updated the BIOS to a newer version, but it did not change anything.
System specifications:
CPU: AMD FX6300
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS M5A78L-M LX3
RAM: 8GB ddr3
STORAGE: 1TB HDD
GPU: Gigabyte GTX1050ti 4GB
PSU: Power MAX 420W lc420h-12
It was a prebuilt system bought from Zalman, over the years I only changed the GPU ( 1 years 1/2 ago).
