PC turns on and then minutes later, instantly turns off and restarts itself.

This doesn't happen all the time, just on occasion. I'd start my PC up, login and then proceed to either browsing the web or playing a game, then my PC just instantly shuts down and restarts by itself. Yesterday morning it took a bit of effort to even start up, the power light on my GPU was flashing and the PSU sounded like it was trying and failing to start, and then it started.

Any ideas?

which PSU are you using?

650W XFX P1-650S-NLB9, 85% Eff', 80 PLUS Bronze, SLI/CrossFire, EPS 12V is my PSU I have

I built my PC in January and this problem has only started to happen about since a couple of weeks ago

I'd say PSU sounds likely but I'd also take a look at your CPU temps, even if just in the BIOS.

The problem was my RAM modules, I took them out, switched them around and put them back in and it seemed to fix the issue!
