PC turns on (black screen), shuts off after ~10 seconds, & repeats (4-pin ATX 12V connector possible culprit)

Hey guys, so yesterday I got my i5 7600K to replace my i3 6100. But after I installed it and tried to turn on my pc the fan & the lights from the power button & mouse turned on, but after about 10 seconds it just shut off and started back up again. This continued until I turned off the pc. I tried solutions that I found online (only plugging in necessary cables, removing RAM sticks/using only 1 RAM stick, resetting CMOS) but none of them worked. The closest thing I found to a solution was that when I unplugged the ATX 12V connector from my motherboard, the pc stayed on (my monitor still has a black screen) and when I plugged in either of the connectors it would do the startup/shutdown cycle again. I've been trying to figure this out for hours and it's so frustrating. Hope you guys can help me.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 7600K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H110M-A
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 2GB OC
PSU: EVGA 430 W1, 80+ WHITE 430W
Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache

Solution
Did you update the BIOS to support the 7600k before removing the 6100?
H110 boards need a BIOS update.

Put the 6100 back in , update the BIOS , then reinstall the 7600k.

F20 BIOS is needed.

I updated the bios, but now when I restart my pc it's taking me to the windows setup screen as if I haven't installed windows yet.

I think so but I'm not sure. It lists the following boot option priorities
Option 1 - P1: WDC WD10EZEX-08WN4A0
Option 2 - Windows Boot Manager (P1: WDC WD10EZEX-08WN4A0)
Option 3 - UEFI: SanDisk SanDisk Cruzer 8.02, Partition 1 (I used this flash drive to update the bios)
Option 4 - SanDisk SanDisk Cruzer 8.02

Ok good news is I selected the Windows Boot Manager from the menu and it went to the normal login screen (had to let it check the disk; was skipping it before). I'll swap out the cpus and let you know if it works.

UPDATE: Everything seems to be working! The first time I tried to start it up the splash screen showed then it cut off. But when I tried a second time it was fine. Thank you so much for the help!
