Morning all.. im in need of help.. my issue is that my pc turns on.. all 3 fans working but nothing is displayed in my monitor..
Major note: i was playing a game and i gotten a weird line/color glitch while i was in game.. so i quickly power shut off my pc by holding down the power button till it was shut off.
Heres a picture i managed to grab while i was stresfully trying to search everywhere to find a fix.. the picture here is identical to what hsppen to me https://m.imgur.com/8RE4PAK
also im playing on a dual monitor setup when this happen, on my 2nd monitor was full white screen, on my other monitor is where i,ve got the weird color glitch.
Now the context..
- after this all happened i took out some parts and cleaned them.. minus the cpu fan ( dont have any thermal paste )
- put everything back together.. turn the pc on.. fan would try to start but it shuts off.. almost as how you would try to start a car even tho it keeps failing.
- turned off everything, switch off the psu then unplug every cable..
Figured i just need to reseat my rams..
- reposition my dual ram.. was black to black now its blue to blue (mobo color coded ram slots)
- plugged everything back.. turned on pc.. and its on! All 3 fans are working ( quick side note, maybe its because i cleaned it but i notice a deeper sound on the fans than it was yesterday.. when i turn on my pc. Also i has both monitors plug in the gpu)
- had my gaming monitor(2nd monitor) plug in.. instead of my main monitor because the hdmi cable for my main monitor doesnt sit flush with the gpu.. it tends to be loose.. a slight touch and it will disrupt the screen.. would go black for a bit then back to normal ( yes im buying a new cable)
- no display at all.. i would get power saving mode in 5minutes but no bios no boot up screen
- waited a bit (probably less than a minute) then the pc would automatically shuts off.. then turn itself back on...
- same thing happens after the first try.. so i just completely turned it off myself..
- so now i figured removing my gpu and putting it back again was worth a shot.. and also this time i use my main monitor (the one with the faulty hdmi)
So now im clueless to what should be my next step. Is my gpu dead? (I dont have extra gpu to try swapping )
Is there anything else i can give a shot at?
