PC turns on, but no display, no beeps, tried everything

I was having some sound issues so I decided to restart my pc, hoping it would fix the problem.However when I tried to turn my pc back on it sounded different than usual, and my monitor received no signal.

Ive tried different monitors, different cables, Ive tried it without the GPU, with a different GPU, with different RAM etc, the only thing ive been able to work out is that if I unplug my case fan (the little cable that goes between it and the motherboard, presumably the power?(Not too tech savvy)) my pc starts up as it used to, the usual whir and beeps, but still no display.

Any ideas? Im thinking PSU or motherboard but I dont want to go doing anything im not knowledgeable about, I know the basics of PC building, but I dont want to be messing with anything to advance without advice first.

Alright so have you tried using different components once you unplugged the case fan?
1. Does your computer do anything if you plug it in without hitting button (fans spin or computer lights up by it self).
2. How does your computer sound different? Are the fans spinning at full speed? This might be due to the motherboard not regulating power properly and not applying the settings based in your bios.
3. You should try rebuilding the computer without the case (rebuild with the mobo on a non-static/non metal surface, like the motherboard box) Ive had a problem like this and it was the case/standoffs were interupting the motherboard.
4. Try loosening the standoff screws. motherboards might not function correctly when its secured to tight to the standoffs.
5. Try testing this with the onboard video outputs (if it has any).

I dont know for sure what it could be. It could be a dead board or something else is interfering with the board. Try these things and get back to me. Good luck
