PC turns on - but no display to monitors (or power to other peripherals)

Earlier today, I opened up my PC (that I have had for just over a year) to see how much dust there was to see if it was in need of a clean. During this I took out 1 of my sticks of RAM, which when I tried to put back in was quite hard to do so and I had to apply a quite large amount of pressure. Once it was in, I realised it was the other way round compare to the other stick so I took it out and put it back in correctly again - I'm not that computer savvy so I'm not sure if this would have caused the problem or not?
Throughout the process I was mostly kneeling on a rug (which thinking about it now I probably shouldn't have done) although I was frequently touching metal objects and I never touched any other components.
When I went to turn my PC back on, it powers on (e.g. fans and LEDs come on) however the PC appears to not output anything to my peripherals. So, my monitors do not display any video, my mouse and keyboard do not receive power (no lights come on when pressing Caps Lock, LED on mouse does not come on), and also my WiFi adaptor and Ethernet do not display any lights, whereas they normally would do.

I have tried booting with just the 1 RAM stick (the one I didn't touch) to no avail. Also I have tried unplugging and holding the power button for 30 seconds also to no avail.

NOTE: I do not have a dedicated video card, I have an APU (on-board graphics)

Please help if possible it would be much appreciated!

Take out the ram stick and take a picture of the slot. This will let us know if the slot is damaged. I had this issue with an eMachines that would boot, but no lights or display. Plug the monitor into your VGA port on the motherboard. If this works and the GPU output doesn't, your GPU is probably dead.

Upon inspection there doesn't appear to be any damage but then again I'm not exactly sure what to look for.
Also, 1 of my monitors is already plugged in via VGA, and that one does not work either (BTW I don't have a dedicated GPU, I have an APU instead)

There is a pcie-16 slot but I'm afraid I don't have a graphics cards that I can plug in to check that, sorry.

Nope🙁
I'm assuming it's something to do with the motherboard because of how all of the peripherals plugged in at the back don't receive power?

Might then be your power supply. Take the 24 pin molex connecter out of the motherboard, and using a bent paperclip, short out the green and either black one, depending on your PSU. Most PSU's it is the green pin and the one to the left of it if the clip was on the top.

If the PSU turns on, It's the motherboard.

Thanks for your help but I think I'm just going to send it back to Overclockers as it should still be in warranty and I don't want to mess it up anymore.
