I have just spent the better part of 7 hours scouring the internet for the solution but cannot find it.
Problem: my PC turns on but doesn't display anything. Won't show anything on my monitor. All my fans turn on and lights do as well. The motherboard phase lights are red, red, yellow, yellow, green, green. I have tried reseating so many different ram sticks in different positions that my thumbs are red. I have tried 2 different psu's and another GPU but to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

(I'm pretty sure I've tried almost every single suggestion on the internet) but is you have any clue please let me know

Specs:
I7 870
GA p55 ud3r
Asus dual GTX 1060 3gb
8gb DDR3 ram
550w thermal take psu

Thanks you!

  1. Have you tried a different monitor?
  2. Have you tried a different port on the graphics card?
  3. Have you tried a different graphics card?
Note: That processor does not have integrated graphics.
I have tried all of these. But none work. I took off my CPU cooler earlier and there is a tiny bit of dust in the socket that is was kind of 50/50 about removing so I left it there. As far as I know it has been there since I got the motherboard as I recall seeing it before and it's never been a problem. Could this be the cause?
