pc turns on for an instant than shuts off.

Earlier this week my computer completely froze to the point where caps lock wouldn't turn on/off so i rebooted it but when i tried all the lights flashed and it just shut down again.

i tried again and same thing happend so i gave it a few minutes to chill out and when i came back it still didn't work. So i unplugged the PSU and turned it off and held the power button for ~60 seconds and pressed the power and it worked.

is it possible that my ram is failing or could it be something else?

ive been reading through them and i havent found a real solution, just a lot of maybe this or maybe that.

ive gone through and done some of the recommended tests and im still not sure what part it could be.
