My Keyboard and Mouse have been turning my PC on, and it's annoying everytime I bump one and my system comes to life.

I want the K+M to be able to wakew my computer, but not turn it on, so I leave the wake boxes checked in Device Manager.

Is there a Bios option on my Z97 Pro for this? because I cannot find one for waking by USB device.

Solution
I don't know if you've found the cause of this issue by now, but I thought I'd post the solution for anyone else who's having the same problem, like myself earlier today.

I couldn't find anything obvious in the BIOS, so I disabled the 'Turn on fast start-up' feature in the shut-down settings. This has stopped my PC coming to life every time I accidently knock my keyboard or mouse!
Sounds like your PC is in a sleep state, and not actually powered off. You can verify this by holding the power button down for 2-5 seconds, which will force the motherboard to shut off.

In an effort to not reinvent the wheel, consider this article for info on power/sleep states.

Hmm... well the PC is off, or at least should be.

I go to the power settings and click Shutdown in Windows 8.1, and the K+M still turn it on. I can hear the PSU click on. If it's still in a sleep state then there is definitely something wrong here...

I also disabled the "allow this device to wake" option in device manager and it STILL turns them on. Could it have to do with the Asmedia USB 3.0 drivers for this mobo? I uninstalled and reinstalled them with nothing in their ports and a restart in between installs, and it still does this.
I see no options for booting by device in my Bios, only disabling the Asmedia USB's entirely for adding Charging+ support (which I kept disabled too)

What is going on here? :/
my keyboard and mouse are starting my PC from shutdown state and I can't find any options to change this?

It's not likely caused by the drivers. These switches are designed to provide emulation of keyboard and mouse.

What happens if you:

1. Shutdown;
2. Remove power cable from PSU;
3. Reinsert power cable and finally;
4. move mouse or tap a key on keyboard

Does this still cause your PC to turn on?

No, if i completely unplug it and turn the PSU on and off, it doesn't wake up then.
But, the next time I Shutdown the PC, it will wake again by keyboard/mouse.
is my PC stuck in a permanent sleep?
Is it the mobo/Windows 8.1's Fast boot/Startup causing this?

And I can't say it's not the drivers.
I uninstalled my Mobo's Asmedia 3.0 drivers and just using Microsoft's basic USB hub driver, it once again only wake the pc from sleep and no longer starts up from shutdown state via K+M.
Maybe this is just cause the Microsoft drivers don't speak with the mobo like the Asmedia's drivers do, but I couldn't find a single option in my Z97's BIOS to change startup via device like keyboard or mouse.

Hmm, yeah, I've never tried that. My only solution was uninstalling Asmedi'as 3.0 USB drivers, I just use Windows standard 3.0 drivers with my mobo. That stopped the issue, but your solution sounds a lot more viable. Very odd that this would stop it. Maybe fast start was keeping the USB's active with Asmedia's drivers to achieve a faster startup time.
