[SOLVED] PC Turns On, No Signal on Monitor

Hello all,

Recently built a new PC a few days ago ... everything turns on, fans in case and GPU run, the RGP on the RAM/fans/GPU work ... but my monitor says no signal

Specs:
Mobo: MSI B550 Gaming Carbon Wifi
CPU: Ryzen 5800x
GPU: MSI Gaming Trio RTX 3080
RAM: Gskill Trident 32 GB (8x4)
Storage: an M.2 NVME and a 6TB SSD
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x73
PSU: EVGA G3 750 watts
Monitor: Acer Predator x35

Ive tried to hook the PC up to my TV via HDMI and no dice either. I reinstalled my RAM, will check my CPU too but that was installed without issue. Tried both DP and HDMI cables with monitor. Monitor works since the predator logo comes up. Havent tried to reset my mobo bios yet.

Any other suggestions would be great!

Motherboard will need BIOS update before it'll boot with that CPU. Read the manual to see if it supports BIOS flash without CPU.

would clearing the CMOS do the trick?

Extremely unlikely that clearing the CMOS would install the correct BIOS.

So you aren't having the same exact issue. Start a thread detailing your PC and problems.

sorry all ... a novice when it comes to doing all this, as this was my first PC build ...

in regards to installing the correct BIOS .. i know i can get the most recent BIOS on MSI's website and place on an USB drive ... but then what .. i cant get my new PC to display anything let alone the UEFI BIOS

gonna try to flash the bios with the most recent version downloaded from MSI ... hope that all works ..
