Discussion PC turns on runs for about 20sec and shuts down.

Installed new cooler and now PC turns on for about 20secs and shuts off. Upgraded the power supply from a 500W to 750W. Reseated all the cables and still same thing. RAM, fans, GPU, and cooler header all do power on for those 20secs. Not sure what else to try.

Please provide full system specs including the brand name/model of both PSUs.

If both PSUs are modular you used the cables that came with the new PSU to connect it to the system right?

Have you checked if you conncted the 8-pin (4+4 auxiliary power cable from PSU to the motherboard too?

I actually ended up figuring it out. Started all over again installing the cooler and it started working now.
