Question Pc turns on when gpu isn’t connected but doesn’t when it is.

i bought a new psu with more wattage to see if my psu was the problem but it doesn’t seem so. My old psu worked fine for a long time so I don’t believe its a psu problem. Could it be the gpu?

What is your computer or parts if self/custom build. Otherwise we are just guessing.
But are you connecting the monitor to the video card, not the motherboard?

Thermaltake 650w(old psu is cheap gigabyte 550w)
Rx 6650 xt
R 5 3600
When i tested it it was connected to the gpu
