Hi, first of all, sorry if this is posted in the one section on the forum.

I turned my pc on as usual this morning, and everything seemed fine until after i'd logged on and noticed the computer started typing 0/0/0/0/ all the time. I checked the keyboard to make sure no keys were stuck, and pressed others to make sure they were working (which they were).
I tried turning the wireless keyboard off and unplugging the adaptor but it was still happening.

I then tried to turn the on screen keyboard off (I have a touchscreen desktop pc running Windows 10) but it was still happening.

I have tried logging off and shutting down but each time I turn it on it happens again.

I am now unable to get any work done as whenever I open the start menu or web browser it just starts typing these two characters automatically. I have tried searching the web for answers but no one seems to have the same problem.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how I can stop it?
Thank you.

Replace the batteries in your keyboard. If its drivers have that function, re-"pair" your wireless keyboard with its receiver. If that is not an option, or does not work, try another keyboard. Yours, or its radio, may have opted for early retirement.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think its actually anything to do with my external wireless keyboard. I turned the PC off, turned the wireless keyboard off and unplugged its receiver, then turned the pc back on, and it was still doing the same thing.
It does it whether the keyboard is connected or not.

I really don't know what to do now, I have gone through all settings for keyboards in control panel and anything else I could think of. I even tried restoring to an earlier point (was worried the recent update it did might have done it) but that hasn't changed anything.
