PC unable to boot........HELP

It all started when I opened a document on my friend's usb. The screen froze just as i opened it.
I restarted the pc and windows startup error came, i chose to startup repair but it stuck on windows is loading files. then i tried to start it normally but it stuck on starting windows. I tried to start it in safe mode but it again stuck on windows is loading files. I also tried the option start with previous settings of last successful startup but that didnt work too. I even tried to run ubuntu from disk without installing but that also did not work for me. I just want my data back....
Please help me..

If you couldn't even load a linux live cd, I'd try resetting my bios to optimized defaults and see if that helps.

I started the windows in safe mode using default bios settings but it was again stuck on windows is loading files....

Is there any other way because i dont want to loose any data plus i dont have the installation disk right now.

Did you config BIOS boot settings ?

You can reinstall windows as the last resort but before doing that you can add the HDD/SSD (the one you want to get your data back) from your faulty PC to this one (I am assuming you have at least 2 PCs) and can back up all the data you want into this PC's HDD/SSD!! It's just a workaround until you have your installation disc.

No they were on default
