[SOLVED] PC unable to detect video output after bootup

Hey everyone, about a couple of days ago my PC out of nowhere completely stopped receiving video output when I booted it up. However, my fans still ran and my GPU, motherboard, keyboard and mouse all lit up (although they don't light up to the colors I choose in their respective software). To make this even more odd, upon boot up non of my EZ debug lights went on to narrow down the issue.

I have reseated my GPU, reseated my RAM, reseated my bootdrive, checked to see that my power supply was working, took out the CMOS battery and reinstalled it, jumped the CMOS and even bought a whole new motherboard thinking that was the issue(unfortunately that was not the case). I am beginning to suspect it is the GPU but I am not sure. I am at my wits end. I would greatly appreciate any help on the matter.
Here are my specs

Ryzen 5 1600

Gigabyte G1 gaming 1070

970 EVO 250 GB (boot drive)

MSI b350 (orginal mobo where issue was found, no longer inside of PC)

Asus b450 prime plus (currently in PC)

Solution

the b350 may need a bios update. see your Mobo;s website for details on how to flash your b350.

What is your monitor? What cable is connecting the monitor? Is the video cable plugged into the GPU ports? Can you hear audio and use peripherals (mouse, keyboard) normally? Have you tested the GPU in a different PC to see if it is a hardware issue with the GPU? Have you tried various cables (VGA adapter, HDMI, DisplayPort) To test if the cable is just bad?

My monitor is the HP Omen 24.5" LED FHD

I use a display port connected from my GPU to my monitor, I've tried connecting the display port into the other ports in my GPU but to no avail.

However, after plugging in an HDMI cable into my monitor and GPU, it turns out that I got video out! Who woulda thunk. Guess it was just a faulty cable. I can now see the bios. Thanks for the suggestion. It sounds like something I should've done first but it honestly was out of my mind haha.

I have an update on the situation.

After returning the b450 motherboard and reinstalling the b350, I still have the same issue of having no video while still using the HDMI cable. Could this still be a motherboard issue?

Which cord is not working? in the previous post you stated that it worked with the HDMI. If you have a cord that works it is not a hardware issue. Do not replace any parts.
