WARNING: I don't know much about PC's so explain like I'm 5

In December of this year I decided to get into PC gaming with this budget build. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeatpF1MzjQ (Here's the parts - https://kit.com/Techsource/350-gaming-pc-february-us) And a couple months ago I started to realize that my PC was under performing, granted I've only played 2 of the games he showed which were BF1 and CSGO which get the FPS that he shows in the video but only at low settings. Now when I first got the PC I had problems flashing the motherboard, but someone told me it wasn't that important so I just gave up, and a couple weeks ago I was looking to overclock my GPU to possibly help my issues, but someone said it wasn't a good idea to overclock 2 GB GPUs, so I didn't. I doubt it matters but I did have to buy different RAM from in the video, but hey maybe.

You have a low budget build.

What performance are you expecting? A simple GTX1050 is only good for basic settings at low resolution.

It is important to have the latest BIOS updates, especially if CPU support needs it.

I would suggest that you check the moherboard website to see what BIOS version is required to support your CPU. If you don't meet that, then everything else is suspect.

Then check that you have the latest drivers.
