Pc under performing

Hi, my pc is around 2 years old I built it not to long ago.
Ryzen 3 1300x
MSI a350m motherboard
1060 6gb
1tb sshd.
8gb dual channel ram

When I watch benchmark videos people with exactly the same Pc out perform mine for example overwatch I get around 80-90 frames in the team fight is this right? Feels bad for the money I spent on the pc

Okay your ram is still at 2133 with bad timings so go into bios and enable xmp/docp/a-xmp whatever your motherboard calls it


Next ensure precision boost is enabled in bios. It's only running at 3.55 average which usually means either pb is turned off or CPU is overheating.

Also it shows you have 24% cpu usage from.back ground items. Rerun test with nothing open

In my bios it shows one stick running at 2400mhz whilst the other at 2133mhz

Also not sure I can find precision boost I don't think my motherboard allows overclocking

They can't be running at different speeds.

Yes your mother board allows overclocking all of them other than a320 boards do

Yes run profile 2 that's not stick one and stick two, it's two different profiles

I got it wrong I have a a320 but ive seen many benchmarks where they achieve a stable frame rate at around 130 with my components really annoying

Either way the a320 should support boost speeds so something is going on there. Or you just have too much stuff open in the background

You can't even accurately "benchmark" an Overwatch teamfight, as random things are going on every time. But with my experiences with similar cards, that is not too far off.

Slow ram and lack of an overclock probably make up for the missing 30fps in those situations

I think i just need to upgrade my cpu because i dont know if im right feels like its bottlenecking my gpu a little bit as when i schange it to ultra i acheive very similar frame rates

I think a 9900k will bottlneck it as well. That game isn't very graphically demanding. Making sure the boost is enabled in bios and the ram change should help some.

Whatever I did I actually turned the graphics up and have a bonus 30 frames so thanks
