Question Pc underperforming

Hi all,
I’ve noticed that my little brother is able to play destiny 2 smoothly on 60fps 1080p. I am however not able to run it on 60 frames. Which I really don’t understand because technically my computer should be better. If anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong or give me tips on what I should buy to improve my computer, that would be appreciated

My specs

• AMD 5 2600x
• gtx 970 4gb
• aorus b450 elite mobo
• 8gb of ram

- gtx 1050
8 gb of ram
