I'm thinking of keeping my motherboard since motherboard these are pretty expensive. I definitely want to keep my cpu because i think its pretty good for gaming rn... The only ones i want to upgrade is my case, ram (2x8gb), psu (500watts), and a ssd (250gb). i hope all this cost to at least $200-$300. I just don't know what to upgrade so i hope you guys help. :)

Solution
Swapping a Dell MB into another case, even another Dell is a bad idea. cables and connectors vary all over the place.
More RAM and an SSD are good ideas. The Dell 300W PSU is anything but crappy. Unlees you're getting a bigger GPU I would just keep it, unless of course yours has a problem. An off brand 500W will be much worse.

Dell uses a continuos power rating and not a "Peak" advertised power the aftermarket uses.
There are more powerful CPUs that will fit that. i7 4790 looks like the way to go for that.

I would do CPU, SSD, and RAM.
I would save up for a better GPU and upgrade to a QUALITY aftermarket PSU...

A GTX 1060 6GB and PSU would be another $300 or so..
