pc upgrade advise

Currently I am using Acer AMD A8-3800 APU with AMD Radeon 6550 HD Graphics, 1.5TB HDD, 8GB DDR3, DVD RW.

Now I want to upgrade my pc with AMD FX-8350 black edition processor, kindly advise me:
1. which motherboard should i buy, and
2. can i use my current Acer casing or i need to buy the new casing for this, as I don't want to change my hdd, ram and dvd.

That would probably be the best idea for the cheapest price. You will MOSTLY likely have to update your motherboard BIOS. I am not familiar with how to do it on Acer specifically but it should really be much different. The only things I see that you would need to buy is a new GPU, PSU and CPU. What is your budget like?

You need a good new motherboard to go with that processor. Both are obsolescent and not produced any more. You would also need a dedicated graphic card, FX 8350 dosn't have IGPU.
Taking all that into consideration, Youd'd be better of building a new system. Even lowest Ryzen system with R3 2200g processor would blow that APU out of the water.
That Acer housing and PSU would most probably not be compatible with any of those parts.
