PC upgrade build help

Hi currently new to building gaming rigs etc and got this pc as a gift from a family member and I've had it for almost a year now.
Specs:
*Case:K380 Cooler master Mid tower (Comes with stock Intake Fan)
*CPU:AMD Quad Core A8-7670k
*GPU:Asus Radeon R9 380 Strix 4GB ver.
*MOBO:F2A68HM-DS2
*Ram:8GB DDR3
*SSD:120GB
*HD:1 TB
*OS Windows 10 Home 64 bit
(Main reason in upgrading is due to some games such as Overwatch and Dark souls 3 having huge Frame rate issues.)

I asked a friend of my mind for a suggestion in upgrading with keeping the case, GPU, and the storage components. These are the new components he suggested:
*CPU: Intel I7700
*MOBO: GA-H270 Gaming 3
*RAM: 16GB DDR4
*PSU: Antec 700w
Cooling: Corsair H115i

I'm interested in whether this new build is decent enough to run games such as dark souls 3 etc. at 1080p 60fps or if anything whether there are a lot more quality components for cheaper prices.

Okay, the i7-7700/RX 380 is a bit of mismatch, the CPU is far faster than the RX 380. You could easily get by with an i3-7100 or even a Pentium G4560 as the RX 380 will be the bottleneck once you hit an i5. So I see two paths.

• ■ keep the RX 380 and get a pentium G4560, use this until you "have the money/wish to" upgrade both the GPU and the CPU. The G4560 and RX 380 will get your FPS you are looking for

  ■ Buy an i7 or i5 with the intention of upgrading the GPU in the near future.

Here is a build using the G4560. You don't need a 700W PSU by the way, you could easily get by with a 550W. I used a 620W. RAM and mobo have been upgraded to support overclocking/updates in the future.
