Hello, i'm looking to upgrade my GPU with the GeForce GTX 460 1gb version (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/...diaGTX460FermiSeries/Novatech/NOV-GTX461.html)

I am currently using a 405W psu from Jeantech, im looking to get the coolermaster GX 750W Power Supply (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/Components/PowerSupplies/Coolermaster/RS750-ACAAE3-UK.html)

I just want to know if this is compatible with what i have;

X38-DS4 Motherboard from gigabyte (http://www.lanthrax.com/news_details.asp?NewsID=01268)
Crucial Ballistix Ram 4GB 800mhz (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/...op/DDR2-PC2-6400/800MHz/BL2KIT25664AA80A.html)
17" LCD VGA monitor (1024x768)
150GB Hard drive
Q6600 Quad Core Processor 2.40GHz

First, just let me say that buying a unit from Coolermaster isn't a great idea. They're lower quality units. Stick to ones from Corsair, SeaSonic. XFX, Silverstone and Antec.

Other than that, it looks like it would be compatible. I would say you should probably start planning a new build, as that's some old tech.

Only reason im upgrading is because my current card is dead.

I'll look into the price range of those brands, dont want to spend too much, thanks for the advice.

Guys, im not sure what card to get, Gtx 460 or Gtx 465, the 465 is only £6 more, but ive heard that the 460 is better in some ways.
