Hi,
I just wanted to know that what component should i upgrade to increase my video rendering 2-3 folds.
i am currently using Intel Core-i5 6500 + Corsair vengeance 16GB DDR4 (2 x 8GB) + 128 GB SSD + 2 TB HDD + Asus H110m-k motherboard + Asus GT-730 2GB graphic card
i was considering to upgrade my motherboad to Asus Strix B250 and then add intel optane memory. Would that help.??

CPU (more cores can render more frames), split your workflow to/from the HDD so that you are not reading & writing to the same drive at the same time, even if you have to add another one, and lastly Ram (32 if you can swing it otherwise stick with 16)

An optane module will do nothing for you. It currently is only used to cache the HDD & speedup load times.

so should i go for the motherboard or go for a xeon processor with compatible motherboard..???

Both motherboards support the same processors, none of them being Xeons that I saw so you would be looking at a rather expensive upgrade to go that route.
I would stick to the i7-7700/7700k and going the extra clock speed an HyperThreaded cores. Add in an extra drive so that you read from one and write to the other (to avoid having the heads constantly reposition trying to read, then write, then read...) and you should see a nice increase in speed.

I would actually suggest grabbing the second drive first and see how much it improves your renders times. Render the same job twice. Once with your single HDD and make note of the duration and then again after you reconfigure with the second drive added and compare. These can always move to a new build so its not a waste in time or effort. Maybe you won't even need a cpu upgrade. :)
