Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next 2 weeks
Budget Range: Originally wanted around £ 400 max, but then I realised that I need to upgrade more than I thought I would, so ~£ 400-500
Are you buying a monitor: Nope
Parts to Upgrade: CPU, Motherboard, GPU, RAM, PSU
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Not bothered as long as it's not some dodgy shop
Location: UK
Parts Preferences: Originally wanted to stay with Intel but apparently it's a bad choice at the moment, so I guess i'm going with Ryzen, not bothered by the rest
Overclocking: Probably not
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: 1440x900, probably upgrade to 1920x1080 later
Additional Comments: Quiet PC preferable, low temperatures are also a must (not sure how Ryzen is with temperatures, apparently it's good, my current CPU doesn't go above 60 when under load)
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My PC sounds like a hoover when the GPU is above 60 degrees (assuming that's because of the single fan GPU), struggling to multitask sometimes, e.g. when playing League of Legends, I get FPS drops if I have YouTube open in the background, would like to play some newer games.
My current build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/qgJQpG
Example build that I've created: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/zk6MRJ , this build goes over my budget by a bit but i'd imagine the price can be dropped by a few pounds as I created that by picking the best stuff from PCPartPicker and some research.
Thanks!
