Hi,
i want to upgrade my GPU from my current Geforce GT-520 2GB to a Zotac Geforce GTX 750 ti 2GB for the soul purpose of gaming, and by gaming i mean nothing fancy at all. Since i have a HP w1907v Monitor, by fancy i mean no 1080p gaming at all and maximum would be 720p and 1440x900 resolution. Titles such as GTA V, Crysis 3, Crysis 2, No Man's Sky and etc; I would expect the titles to run at 30fps plus and have an average fps of 40fps at high settings.
I have a maximum budget of 150$ and any other GPU that would be welcome for recommendations.
Oh, and i do 3D CGI by the way, if that's of any importance to take into consideration.
My RIG :
Intel® Core i7 860 2.8GHz overclocked to 3.6GHz
8GB RAM

Considering your system and the specs you list, the GTX 750 Ti would indeed be a good card for 30+ FPS at max/near max settings @ 720p. C3 and GTA5 may need the settings turned down the most, but C3 is beautiful at any setting.Another card to look into would be the GTX 950. There is a model out now that requires no 6-pin connection, and is a nice step up from the GTX 750 Ti.

Pretty much better in every performance category: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1662?vs=1666
But if your 650W PSU is a good quality unit, your budget is your only real limitation.
