Pc upgrade help

I currently have a fx-8350 8gb ddr3 ram and a 960. I have a budget of 1800nzd which is around 1390.95 usd i want a setup which will include a monitor keyboard and mouse but i dont know if i want to upgrade the current pc with a new graphics card, ram to 16gb and more storage. Or should i completely make a new system.

I guess no need to upgrade entire setup ,just replace the GPU ,Vega priced from $399 so wait for few weeks

You need a new system. The fx-8350 will massively bottleneck any reasonable GPU.

If you are planning to play in a 60hz monitor, then the 8350 can handle it. If you plan to game in a 144hz monitor, you need a 7700k.
Even ryzen struggles to push past 90fps. The 8350 will give you around 60fps.

This is how much it will take to game at 144hz. I would suggest the gtx 1070,but the price gap to a 1080 is like 50 bucks thanks to the mining craze. And I would suggest the 1080 to the upcoming Vega.
