Question PC upgrade issues, blue screen and keyboard issues

Just bought upgrades for my old pc, basically gutted the thing, but I'm keeping the same hard drive. After starting the pc, and starting it normally opposed to running system repair (explain later), the blue screen pops up talking about the hard drive. However, the hard drive is installed properly. I cannot run system repair because when the windows pops up to execute the system repair, both my keyboard and mouse stop working. I've tried plugging them back in, taking out and putting back the battery on the motherboard, and swapping to the USB 2.0 slots, but nothing is working. I also tried the f8 menu at startup and the same thing occurred.

You might need to reinstall, Win 10 this time.
