PC upgrade, opinions?

Hello guys I'm an amateur at all the PC stuff, got a simple PC and wasn't too sure how to buy it so didn't buy a really good one. So I did a bit of research and decided to bulk it up a little. After this research, I found the fitting parts that I need and also they fit my budget which isn't too high, so if you could maybe give me some advise or feedback or what you think about this upgrade I'd be grateful as honestly, I have very little idea of what I'm doing but I think it isn't too bad. One of those screenshots contains the shopping list with all the items that I want to buy and the other one contains my current specs of this PC.

What is your current motherboard, is that cpu the same socket? Does the motherboard support the new cpu? That intel cpu cannot go into your current motherboard. (AMD)

I actually think the cpu is the least important upgrade.
Upgrading to an SSD is a huge quality of life improvement.
Also graphics card upgrade is the best thing for gaming.

What are your current specs, so we can help you out more?
Edit: I see your current specs. My advice is keep the same cpu, upgrade graphics card and add the ssd. What is the watts on your current power supply?

The current wattage is 230 which in my opinion is nowhere near the required amount for a decent PC with my requirements, I play quite a few games that require high specs. I thought the CPU and my hard drive are the key to get my PC to run faster (what I was told by my uncle, has done PC's for as long as I can remember him), and my PC is to be honest quite slow, wouldn't it increase the overall performance? I mean not in-game as it doesn't affect FPS, just overall PC performance.

Don't upgrade the cpu for now.
Add an ssd.
Upgrade Power supply and graphics card
It will feel like a brand new computer.

I would go for more than 450 watt PSU. Specially if you are not going nvida maxwell card (They are really energy efficient)

If you can afford it go with gtx 970. 500 Watt minimum recommended psu. So 600 or 650 watt (some headroom)
