Hi,
So Until New Years I want to upgrade my PC, I'm on a student budget so I cant get the likes of 9900k and RTX's. With the current rig I personally believe is more than fine for now, however in the next 2/3 years it'll most likely due an upgrade. Here are my current specs:
Intel Core i5-4690K CPU (oc to 4.2GHz)
Gigabyte H81M-S2PV
16GB RAM DDR3 @ 1600 MHz
Zotac GTX 1060 6GB
256GB Crucial MX500
1TB SATA Hard Drive
500W Power Supply AeroCool Bronze rating
Note: Im on a 144Hz monitor
The Upgrades I'm thinking of:
I5-9400F
Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H
Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 Vengeance LPX 16 GB
+Keeping my GPU as it's fairly new
Should I replace anything? anything else you guys would recommend?
If any info is required, give me a heads up :)

as rgd said, the i5 9400f is a 1151 cpu when your mobo is 1150 socket. but yeah this would be a decent to great rig since it could run gta 5 on everything max except shadows@1080p with a 63fps average, and fortnite ALL max@1080p with a 90fps average (on creative games you get a lot more fps, i dont know how much you would get there)

If you feel your rig is more than fine now then I wouldn't upgrade anything until you feel it is performing below your expectations.

Wouldn't it be better then to go for a AMD CPU as I'm changing motherboards, it's not as expensive and will deliver the same performance e.g. a Ryzen 5 3600?
