Most AAA games even a 9900k can't achieve 240fps, this is more esport gaming fps. Its going to come down to the specific game. However really high fps at 1080p is where Intel 9700k/9900k has the edge. As for gpu that depends on the game and how much you need and are willing to sacrifice settings.

the i7-950 uses ddr3 memory. the ryzen 3600 uses ddr4, so if your upgrading be sure to note that this will have to be upgraded to. I would get 16gb of memory, and with ryzen the faster the memory the better it performs.

Well i play CSGO, Rainbow six siege warzone, pubg sometimes and also if i get the chance i will try out valorant.
Ryzen 3600 + 2070 Super = 240fps?
CSGO: definitely doable
R6 Siege: definitely doable
CoD Warzone: Probably not. This game is pretty hard to run from what I've heard - 150 player map, that's going to be rough for many PCs. Potato and low budget builds will struggle with this one.
PUBG: Broken excuse of a game. Definitely not doable. The devs have added things over time, but optimizing their game engine? They probably haven't done it since it launched...
Valorant: Pretty new title, looks like it's doable too

I have this combo and I would say at 1080p for sure 240fps. Maybe on max graphics you would get like 150+ but that’s not recommended to run max graphics anyway. I get about 200 FPS on war zone there and almost 200 on PUBG so you should be fine there
