pc upgrade recommendations and advice needed

hi guys just want to ask what should i buy or should pick... i want to upgrade my old pc basically i will just upgrade the MOTHERBOARD RAM AND PROCESSOR

current specs

Intel core 2 duo e7400 ------- planning to replace
G31M-S ---------planning to replace
4 gb ram ddr2 -------- planning to replace
hd 7770 1 gb ------ recently purchased
1 tb blue western digital hdd ---- recently purchased
and a 500 watts true rated psu 80 effieciency
(huntkey psu)

------- now im confused about the processor i would pic the candidates are


FX-6300
OR
A10-7770 kaveri
Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 8G Dual 1600 CL8


the board i pick is GA-G1 SNIPER A88X its final.

questions ....

are the two cpus? is unlocked? what is the better choice? and also should i buy a new psu?
is my ram frequency ? are ok ?

Since you have dedicated GPU, there is no need to get A10-7700, better get the FX 6300. About motherboard (for the FX 6300) get the Asus M5A97 LE. About the PSU, hunkley is not very good PSU, better get Corsair, XFX, Seasonic or Antec PSU.

is the ga 1 sniper? is bad? btw i cant get a new psu ..for now so i would stick for my old . and also the motherboard you said is not available here im from philippines heres the site i would by the parts

G1 Sniper is not bad, but it is not compatible with the FX 6300, because FX 6300 is AM3+, while the G1 Sniper is FM2+.
Here are some motherboards for FX 6300, and i think the Asus M5A97 LE is available, check again.

thanks for the correction... i may pick the asus... i found some articles that the ga 970a has a compatibility problems on fx-6300 .... is my ram choice is ok??
