PC Upgrade Recommendations?

I built my computer in Fall 2011. I haven't upgraded anything since and not really sure where to start. I use my PC for work, InDesign, Photoshop, and Gaming. I am not currently having any issues, just know its time to step up my game. My budget is between $500 - $800.

1535MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 (EVGA)

I don't really keep up with the latest hardware, so really don't know whats out there. Any help is much appreciated.

Seriously you've got a really good board & CPU mate - the 2600k is barely beaten by the skylake chips.
Get your ram upgraded to 16gb & stick a gtx 970 in there & you'll be absolutely golden for a few more years.

if your pc has 3 two g sticks then replace them wiht two 8g sticks. if there only two sticks of ram make sure the mb reading the ram right. on the gpu hold off till pascal gpu drop in a few weeks. there sa lot faster then the 900 cards for the same price.
