Hello guys i am due to an update to my pc.

Two of the mains things i want to upgrade are firstly the ram and secondly the storage. Certainly i have 8 gb 1600 vengeance, and i am thinking of having another kit for 16 gbs, is it worth ? I know it is the simplest and cheapest upgrade you can have (probably).

Secondly i want to add some storage. I have a 60gb agility 3 and a 500 gb caviar blue.
I am thinking of either adding 2x Intel 540s ssds in raid 0 (probably) or having 1x HyperX predator.

i am glad to listen to your opinios as well as new (to me) options, mainly about the ssds. Thanks in advance

You don't need more RAM though. You're wasting money. You will notice zero difference. I do not recommend RAID 0 at all. If one drive fails, both will fail and you will lose all your data
Another 8GB kit for a 16GB total is definitely, YES..

I think a 250 GB Samsung EVO would be better than either of the two.. Frankly, If I were in your shoes, I'd look at getting a 1TB or 2TB HDD first, I tend to fill up quite quickly..

The ram is te easiest part of the upgrade. My concern is about the ssds. Wouldnt it be better if i run 2 ssds in raid 0, or if i bought a pcie HyperX predator (1,2 gbs/s read)?

Ok so lets say i will not put them in raid 0. Why wouldn't i go with a single HyperX predator which is 2 times faster than the 850. I know that it is a bit pricey but, i would give 50 extra euros for that performance bump over the 850. Have in mind that i am talking about 240 gb ssds.
