I have a Lenovo ideacentre 300S-11IBR and I want to upgrade my ram and GPU, willing to spend
40-100$ on the GPU and I want to upgrade the ram to 8gb, any recommendations?

Since you didn't answer, I'll assume the PC is indeed the slim line like I linked to above.
Here's another pic. It shows what should be the inside of that PC. Is this the same as yours? https://i.ytimg.com/vi/z_gSawYmo60/maxresdefault.jpg

If all above is correct, the GT 730 DDR5 64 bit gfx card is the best that PSU will handle safely. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA73M5JB8183
[strike]If you want to take a chance and push your luck, you can use one of the RX-460 cards that require no 6-pin connection like this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137028[/strike]

I wouldn't push for a GPU, the CPU is very limited anyway.
Two cores of 2Ghz will not play any modern game.
Would be better to get a CPU. A GPU will fit as this CPU requires only 6W of power and it's safe to plug it in.

As I see it, the PC uses SODIMM(laptop) RAM and it only has one slot for it, furthermore it looks to be a BTX motherboard.
Also, the CPU seems to be using a BGA socket, meaning it's soldered to the motherboard.

Would be best to try and sell this and get a new system for $300, with a Pentium G4560.I'll post a build soon.

Everything in this build is better than the Lenovo.
Quality PSU.
Capable CPU.
GPU a few times better than the 730, for $30 more.
Take storage from Lenovo, if you're not selling it.

Update:
I mistakenly linked to a full height card above. Ignore that GTX 460. I had forgotten we were talking a low profile PC. The GT 730 will be the best for you. It is an OK card at 720p resolutions and can do 1080p with lowered settings. I have one in an old desktop, and it is... ok.

Well, that makes it a bit better, but certainly not good. I'm staying with my point.
You can try a GPU if you want, but you've seen that the G4560 is a few times better than a CPU similar to yours.

Just make sure it's not taller than 90mm, your case is 100mm.
